  • Guests have full and private access to the camper, deck, hot tub, grill and field. No other campsites or close neighbors to contend with! The view includes a small, quiet community church (to the left of our property at the far end). Other than them, it is field and mountains as far as the eye can see.

  • This deck is the warmest place on our property, as well as the spot with the best views! Year-round, you’ll enjoy the warmth of the sun throughout the day and the breathtaking stargazing from the hot tub at night.

I’m Jody, and my husband Greg and I live here in beautiful Western North Carolina with our four children, two cats and one dog. It’s been our dream to host on Airbnb for many years and we’re so excited to present Blue Moon Cottages’ Retro RV as our first escape for you and your loved one.   • We love pets, but unfortunately due to the size and layout of the retro rv, our property is not pet-friendly at the moment.

    Of course, we welcome service animals at Blue Moon Cottages. We understand the vital role they play in supporting individuals with disabilities. We request that if you are bringing your service animal that you inform us in advance and provide documentation confirming your service animal’s status so that we are able to make the necessary arrangements for a seamless and comfortable stay!

  • Yes, the RV is equipped with both heating and air conditioning to ensure your comfort year-round.

  • The bathroom in the retro camper is a space-saving design where the shower and toilet share the same space, a common feature in RVs. Despite its compact layout, it includes all essentials like a functional flushing toilet, basic toiletries, and a shower with hot water. We provide fresh towels as well as clear instructions of how to use the toilet and shower.

  • Blue Moon Cottages is in the countryside of Candler, North Carolina (West Asheville area). The property is surrounded by rolling farmland, and yet a short drive to both hiking and biking trails and to downtown Asheville. To anyone who may be sensitive to cemeteries; there is a quiet church with a small community plot next to our property, far enough away from the camper to not intrude on your privacy.

    Our personal residence shares the same 6-acre property as the retro RV, positioned on the opposite side with a private entrance and trees providing a natural divide. Although we are far enough away to ensure your peace and privacy, we are readily available to assist you whenever needed. We deeply respect our guests' privacy and ensure that your stay remains undisturbed and tranquil.
